The cake grows Alice as tall as the ceiling. Taking her chance she unlocks the door with the key, but is unable to gain access due to her height. Alice once again starts crying. Almost on cue the white rabbit comes scurrying up from a distance. When Alice asks him for help he becomes startled, dropping his gloves & fan. While the rabbit runs away Alice takes both his items in her hands and presently she begins to shrink.Of course she doesn't notice this until she has almost shrunk out of existence for Alice is trying to figure out what is wrong with her (could she be somebody else she wonders? hopefully not Mabel).At such a height Alice is caught in her pool of tears and must swim around, at the same time she also manages to find and offend a mouse. Finding the pool crowded, Alice leads all the animals in the water (who came out of nowhere) to the shore.
