Through the Looking Glass (the sequel)

Not only did Lewis Carroll write the incredibly famous Alice in Wonderland, he also wrote a sequel Through the Looking Glass. It's taken some time with homework, but I finally finished the book. This time around Alice gets a little too curious of the room on the other side of the mirror and ends up stumbling inside. Once there, she finds a world practically bursting with nonsense. Books can only be read in mirrors, Humpty Dumpty refuses to believe he may fall, & in the backyard a large scale chess game is being played. After being initiated into the game as a pawn Alice moves from square to square meeting new friends? along the way. The book is written much like the original & is completely insane. But isn't that what pulls us all back to Wonderland?
